During my visit at Kabila Filipino Bistro, I also discovered that its neighbor, Museum Cafe, serves a special breakfast menu from 8 am to 11 am so I decided to give it a try.
Food
I'm very happy with their multi-cuisine breakfast offerings.
Chinese (Served with a choice of 3 pcs. Shrimp Dumplings, Sharks Fin or Siumai)
My favorite is the Chicken Hainan Noodles with Shrimp Dumplings.
The Chicken Hainan is so tender, the broth is flavorful plus it had shitake mushrooms which I love.
The Shrimp Dumplings has a beautiful clear and smooth shell and the shrimp was soft but solid and not soggy.
I don't usually enjoy congee because its commonly plain for my liking. But, the Anise Scented Beef Congee with Siumai is certainly a hearty and flavorful choice.
The Anise Scented Beef Congee has savory and tender braised anise scented beef that requires little chewing. The rich flavors of the beef is evident in the congee broth as well.
The Siu Mai is a pretty good version too.
Favorites
You can make your own omelette or choose one from their menu.
Waffles/Pancakes (served with maple syrup, butter, peanut butter and topped with ripe mango, watermelon and granny smith apples)
An order of their Waffles comes with 4 pieces of golden brown crips on the outside and soft on the inside waffles topped with whipped cream and fruit cubes. I enjoyed them with the peanut butter.
Their M Benedict Jamon Excellente is one of the best egg benedicts I've tried yet! The perfect egg composure and the smoky ham combination is so sensational!.
Drinks
Fresh Juices
TWG Tea
Tsinoy Foodies Verdict
Museum Cafe offers reasonably price hefty breakfast meals that will surely perk up your morning! Their breakfast variety is not the usual fare and you certainly can't go wrong with any of them.

My first acquaintance with the Raintree Restaurant Group was when we dined at MoMo! Cafe. After that pleasurable dining experience, I was epicurious to try more of their other concepts starting with Kabila Filipino Bistro.
It's named Kabila because it's right next door to Museum Cafe (I want to try that sometime too!).
The high ceiling design gives the place a nice, clean, refreshing and spacious appeal.
The first thing you'll notice upon walking in is the cake display. Yes! I was successfully tempted.
I'm not really sure what this station is for but it showcases their famous Shrimp Okoy and Bagnet.
There are bottled of fermented vegetables. I'm told it is only for display purposes.
Food
First
I suggest that you have the Shrimp Okoy as a finger snack to share with a group. It's as big as their big round platter. It's different from other ones I've tried because it was very crispy and golden brown and made use of tiny baby shrimps and leeks. It is served with sukang ilocos, chili and rock salt.
Salad & Vegetables
The Ensaladang Kabila is a foodgasmic orchestra of flavors. It has salted eggs, ripe and green mangoes, guava, turnips, pomelo, pili nuts and diced tomatoes and onions. It is served with bagoong alamang.
The best dish I've tried is the Fresh Lumpia sa Kabila. It's my first time to encounter a fresh lumpia ubod that is wrapped in an egg net (similat to the ones used for pad thai). It has shrimp, minced pork, sweet garlic sauce, fresh garlic and sugar mixed ground peanuts.
Second
This is the most flavorful Seafood Kare-Kare I've ever tried. You can njoy this without the two types of bagoong served with it because of its rich peanut-y sauce. As you can see, they don't scrimp on the ingredients too.
Pancit
The Kabila pancit is topped with carrots, green onions, beans and their famous Bagnet. It is best eaten with the suka similar to the Pancit Habhab.
Rice
Plated Desserts
Who doesn't love chocnut? I love the creativity they put in the Leche Flan Turon + Chocnut Sauce. I can't stop dipping onto the sauce!
The Chocolate Filled Buchi Balls are deep-fried buchi served on top of a shot glass with vanilla ice cream so it's enjoyed ala mode style but in a fun dunk-and-eat way.
I'm quite pleased with its dark and creamy chocolate filling.
Specialty Cakes
They probably called this the Impossible Cake because it's impossible to resist! It has a leche flan top and moist dark chocolate cake on the bottom.
Tsinoy Foodies Verdict
Experience a fun-filled Filipino dining at Kabila Filipino Bistro. The food has a nice innovative flair without losing the essence of its native Filipino roots. It's dishes are also bolstered by rich quality ingredients. The awesome interiors is also a plus.

Every time we Tsinoy Foodies watch a movie at Glorietta 4, we always take the chance to try more of the restaurants at the food court. Yes, we are actually cheapskates in search for cheap eats just so we could buy a bucket of popcorn, fries and a large drink for our movie. ;D
More often than not, our number one checklist when trying out is something new is the visible line of customers. Kim N' Chi passed that test so I decided to order here.
Upon ordering you they will prepare your order and if it requires a longer time, they will give you their cute buzzer.
Food
They give out
Complimentary Soup. It's made of beef broth.
Fellow Tsinoy Foodie Kurt ordered some Dumplings which are so affordable. We were amazed that 7 pieces of Dumplings cost only 49 php. It was deliciously meaty too.
I was quite surprised when I was served a lot huge Beef Omu-Rice. It had a Beef Bulgogi mixed with Chap Chae at the side. Upon opening, I was disappointed. It was a large amount of plain rice only. =( Of course, what can you expect with the price right? If you want the real omu-rice with chunky flavored rice inside, best you spend some more and find a better location. Nevertheless, eating it altogether with the viand was pretty fulfilling. I had a difficulty finishing that much rice.
Tsinoy Foodies Verdict
Kim N' Chi serves affordable Korean food in a reliably quick pacing. Food is pretty good and the amount is generous to satisfy a heart appetite. But as expected, its not authentic in terms of quality.

Kim N' Chi had a typical food court store set up with a large menu and a cashier counter so you can pay as you order.
It had an enticing display of its food selections. This is quite common for Japanese and Korean restaurants. Food
